About Us

As children, Aaron Lynn and myself always dreamed of finding hidden treasures in our adventures. Yet here we were, in our mid-20’s with not a doubloon to our names. But just because we couldn’t find treasure didn’t mean that we couldn’t try and help someone else fulfill that childhood dream. That’s when we came up with the crazy idea to bury some treasure for our friends and family that were home for the holidays, to add a bit of joy to what was an otherwise dreary holiday season. Aaron, a gifted writer, created a small poem disclosing the location of the treasure, and I set out with a couple helpers and a shovel in hand to bury a small chest for our friends and family to find. We then launched our little game on social media, and what we thought would be something for a few friends and family to enjoy, grew into something so much larger. Hordes of people from all over Cape Cod were looking for our treasure chest; local radio stations and newspapers were calling for interviews, and thank you notes were pouring into our inboxes. Everyone was talking about the two “Brewster Boys” and their holiday hunt, and so our non-profit was born.

We formed this business to rekindle that sense of adventure that we all experienced as children, and to inspire people to get outdoors and moving while learning about their home. We also aspire to create a sense of pride in our community, as local businesses and community members alike sponsor our hunts, as a way to give back to those that helped them get where they are today. But we also decided that this was a great opportunity to give to those who have dedicated all their time to helping those around them and inspire others to give, which is why our winners can select a local charity to give a matching reward to with each hunt.

The smiles, stories, and love that all of our participants have sent our way has been truly inspiring. This has given us the motivation and fuel to push this business forward, because as long as you all are having fun, so are we!
